The Anchorage Economic Development Corporation released the 2019 Cost of Living Survey.
In 2019, the composite index for Anchorage dropped to 124.0, nearly 5% lower than 2018. Of the 266 cities that participated in the 2019 COLI survey, Anchorage is the 22nd most expensive city in the United States.
