There are 5 rotary drilling rigs operating in Alaska as of April 21, four onshore and one offshore, according to the Baker Hughes weekly rig count. Onshore rigs are down 2, and offshore rigs up 1, from April 1. The total U.S. rig count for April 21 is 1,800. States with more than 100 operating rigs include:
