A Rasmussen public opinion survey conducted on August 31, 2010 found that 56% of Alaskans rate their personal finances as good or excellent, while just 11% rate them as poor. Alaskans are also more optimistic about their finances than consumers in a similar national poll, with 33% of Alaskans saying their finances are getting better, compared to 21% on a national level - and 34% saying their finances are getting worse, compared to 48% on a national level.
